Scooby Doo is an animated television show about a lovable great dane and four teenage sleuth's who solve creepy mysteries.  The kids of Mystery, Inc. drive around the country in "The Mystery Machine," their psychedelic van.  The gang always ends up in a town where something unexplainable is happening.

The gang always lands in some "creepy" place like an amusement park, a castle, a mysterious island, or even a museum.  They immediately begin to investigate these strange happenings to find out what's really going on.

Mystery, Inc. always ends every show with the unmasking of the villain.  All the viewers have a chance to try at solving the mystery themselves, and have the satisfaction of knowing they can also solve mysteries.

Even though Scooby Doo would rather eat than run into one of over two hundred villains, such as mummies, vampires, ghosts, and witches, he always has a role in the catching of the bad guy.

Now, let's meet the gang.

Scooby Doo ~ Of course the star of the show.  Scooby is the lovable yet chicken-hearted great dane who, at times, is afraid of his own shadow, would prefer food to any mystery.

Shaggy ~ He is often called the human version of Scooby Doo.  With phrases like "groovy," and "outta sight," he's inseparable from Scooby.  He doesn't, however, like to be called Norville Rogers, which is his real name.

Velma ~ Velma Dinkley is the brains of the whole operation.  She's the smartest girl in her high school, donning knee socks and thick bottle glasses.  She is always able to give logical and scientific solutions to the mysteries.

Daphne ~ Daphne Blake is the teen beauty.  She has an adventurous nature and a knack for uncovering clues which prove useful in the future.  She hopes to become a mystery writer.

Fred ~ Fred Jones is the leader of Mystery, Inc.  Freddy has a curious nature that often leads the gang into strange places where they would never go under ordinary circumstances.  You can always recognize him by his nifty ascot, or scarf.
